Program Disclaimer — Zenith College of Applied Science

The Diplomas in Martial Arts Instruction and Master Diploma in Martial Arts Coaching & Leadership are holistic‑industry qualifications designed for professional development within the martial arts education sector.

Students enrolling in these programs do so under their own due diligence, and it is their responsibility to ensure that the qualification aligns with their personal training pathway, professional goals, and organisational requirements.

In Australia, these Diplomas are formally classified as Non‑AQF qualifications, meaning they do not sit within the Australian Qualifications Framework and are not government‑accredited awards. They are not equivalent to any AQF Certificate, Diploma, or Degree.

Students outside Australia must verify the acceptance, relevance, or recognition of these qualifications with their local educational authorities, industry regulators, or governing bodies, as requirements differ internationally.

These programs are accredited by the Complementary Therapists Accredited Association (CTAA) as independent, industry‑recognised professional development courses.

They are not government‑accredited qualifications and do not replace any school, dojo, organisational, or federation requirements for teaching, grading, or rank progression.

Completion of these programs does not:

  • confer martial arts rank

  • indicate black belt status

  • grant instructor authority within any lineage

  • substitute for formal martial arts training

  • override dojo‑specific rules, standards, or certification pathways

  • guarantee employment or instructor placement

These courses should be viewed as adjunct professional development programs, designed to complement existing martial arts training. They provide instructors and students with additional knowledge in areas such as teaching methodology, safety, communication, psychology, and professional practice — supporting the development of a broader and more informed instructional toolkit.

Each participant — including students, black belts, instructors, and school owners — is solely responsible for determining whether these programs are appropriate for their needs. Zenith College does not provide advice regarding rank eligibility, dojo regulations, organisational recognition, or individual teaching authority. Participation in these programs does not override the policies, standards, or decisions of any martial arts school, association, federation, or governing body.
